We’re buzzing to share that Sports Alive has received £5,000 through the Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards and we honestly couldn’t be happier!
A massive thank you to Benefact Group for supporting us and recognising the impact we’re trying to make. If you haven’t heard of them, Benefact is an incredible organisation that gives back to charities and community groups across the UK. Every year, through their Movement for Good programme, they award funding to hundreds of charities doing important work, from health and wellbeing to education, inclusion, and of course, youth support like us.
At Sports Alive, we’re all about using sport, creativity and connection to give young people the best possible start. Our centre-based sessions across Everton, Fazakerley, Kirkby and Tuebrook give local kids a place to be themselves, try new things, and build confidence.
This funding will help us grow those sessions, bring in new activities, and reach even more young people who need that space to feel safe, included, and supported. Whether it’s football, dodgeball, photography, cooking or just a game of Connect Four, it all makes a difference.
Thank you to everyone who’s shouted about us, supported us, and got involved in what we do. And of course, a massive shoutout again to the Benefact Group for helping make it all possible.
