This year’s Annual Family Fun Day in partnership with Cobalt housing, was a resounding success, with over 1,000 attendees coming together to enjoy a day filled with laughter, excitement, and community spirit. The event was a perfect blend of sports, music, games, and picnics, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
The sports taster sessions were a hit, offering something for everyone. From Rugby and tennis to golf and Baseball, participants of all ages had the chance to try out new activities and discover their hidden talents.
Local families enjoyed their picnics while lounging on picnic blankets, creating a relaxed, safe festive type vibe.
The games area was bustling with activity, featuring all our classic inflatable games and bouncy castles, we also had face painting. The highlight was definitely the stocks and water sponges which seen our staff members Courtney and Malakai take the most hits. Children and adults alike enjoyed the thrill of winning prizes with 0151 entertainment and the simple joy of playing and dancing together. The laughter and smiles were contagious, spreading happiness throughout the event.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attende and supported the event and for their generosity in buying raffle tickets and tuck as we were able to raise just over £1100 which went towards us taking 15 young people on a residential trip to Skipton.
The Annual Family Fun Day was more than just an event; it was a celebration of community, togetherness, and joy. With such a fantastic turnout and a wide range of activities, it truly was a day to remember. We can’t wait to see what next year’s event has in store!
