Sports Alive team have changed and expanded over the years, as we build the foundation so that our staff continue to learn and grow. We work flexible hours, offer extensive training courses and development opportunities.
Working for Sports Alive our employees are forward thinking, creative, putting youth at the forefront of their sessions, and are able to plan structured activities, or events. Our approach aims to make a difference, allowing children and young people the chance to play, learn and follow pathways to education or employment.
Our outreach & detached youth work allows us to offer alternative pathways away from being on the streets and build strong relationships with young people. We support them and offer alternative positive activities with the aim in reducing involvement in high-risk activity and anti-social behaviour.
Sports Alive also employ staff that are classed as youth workers themselves and some have come through our services, before starting their journey into youth work. We have a peer support ethos and offer hands on guidance, knowledge, experience, as well as emotional, social and practical support.
